Ozzy Osbourne is ready to hit the road after passing his driving test at the 19th attempt.

The heavy metal star revealed his success on his Twitter page, although he also gave a warning to other road users.

He said: “I just passed my driving test. Took me 60 years but I did it! For the 1st time in my life I’m legal to drive, so watch out!”

Osbourne added that his tendency to turn up for his test with a bottle of vodka in his pocket had seen him previously sent away from test centres before getting into the car.

He told Classic Rock magazine that he passed the test in the US, meaning that he will still not be eligible for London car hire.

However, he commented to the publication that he has plans to buy an Aston Martin now that he can legally get behind the wheel.

Recently, it was revealed that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is taking driving lessons away from his London home, opting to learn in Dorset instead.
