Whilst stumbling around on the internet looking for Christmas based videos to send to friends on e-mails I managed to find this footage of a very tame Robin that has been filmed being fed titbits in a tree surgeons cab.


Over the weekend the story has been picked up by several major newspapers who have tracked down the cameraman and uncovered some of the background to this little tale.

The Robin has been visiting John Hancock at a yard in Worcester over the last few weeks and has got used to being given daily treats of biscuits and small pieces of chicken straight from John’s hand. However, with an upcoming break for John and his colleagues they are going to ensure that there is some food and fat balls left out for their feathered friend over Christmas.
