Tell Us About Ways To Donate To The Haiti Earthquake Appeal

The whole world is surely aware of the devastation that is currently taking place in Haiti after the nation was hit by a huge earthquake just over a week ago leaving hundreds of thousands lost, injured and killed.

Search and rescue operations are still going on and the true death toll is unknown but an additional challenge now is to find housing for the estimated 1.5 million survivors who have been left homeless by this disaster.

In large part, the global community has united in providing aid in whatever form possible from monetary donations to clothing and medical equipment and many humanitarian organisations are currently working in the area to try and ease suffering but there is always more they can do and even the smallest donations are appreciated.

There are a number of ways you can make a contribution which can be found on the website of the Disaster Emergency Committee who act as an umbrella organisation for a number of humanitarian agencies.
