Frieze Art Fair taking place next week in London

Frieze-Art-Fair-Regents-P-001If you are taking a trip to London next week or live in the area, be sure to visit Frieze Art fair, which takes place in Regents park between the 13th-16th October. The Annual art event, showcases over 170 of the most exciting contemporary art galleries in the world. The fair also includes specially commissioned artists’s projects, a prestigous talks programme, Musical performances, Films and an artist-led education schedule.  An outdoor sculpture park exhibits work from both old and new designers. The sculpture park is free to the public.

EducationMainThis fair is suitable for people of all ages, and has a lot of activites catered for families,In the Octopus’s Garden those aged 9-99 are encouraged to take part in four fun activities in which Pierre Huyghe’s Frieze Project will inspire new ideas for thinking about and making art. For those younger children visiting the fair Forget Me Not motivates them to look out for people, food, art and specifically Laure Prouvost’s signs hung throughout the fair.

With London’s art world warming up for next weeks Fair, Cumberland hotel will be showcasing a unique Banksy installation parked outside, A Lorry, fully stencilled by the elusive artist.
