Marbella is set to hold the first edition of  “Classics on wheels”.

A Passion for Classics?Organised and hosted by the “American Classic Car Owners Club Costa Del Sol”,  Marbella town-hall and six of the most important classic car clubs along the coast, “Classics on Wheels” will take place on June 27th 2010 and promises to be one of the most attractive and memorable events that will take place in Marbella this summer. Starting in Centro Comercial Plaza in Nueva Andalucia, close to Puerto Banús, participants will get into tune with breakfast accompanied by music from the 50´s and 60´s.

At midday everyone can enjoy the sight of the cars as they drive around Puerto Banús during the “Downtown Sunday Cruise”, and the afternoon awaits the participants with live music by the famous Rockabilly band “The Sun Rockets”, a BBQ and cold drinks. Prizes will be handed out to the winners of up to eight categories including Best British Classic Car and Best Restored to Original. The day ends for the classic car owners with more live jazz and blues and the Best Car of the event prize. Don´t miss the opportunity to enjoy a day surrounded by luxury American classics.
