Birmingham set to welcome Jools Holland for another festive show
Jools Holland will once again return to Birmingham with his big band this December as part of his traditional festive tour.
One of Britain’s best-loved big bands is gearing up to return to Birmingham this December as part of its ‘party that never stops’.
The Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra will be embarking on a UK tour for the 14th year in a row and are due to stop off for one night at the National Indoor Arena (NIA) on December 19th.
As always, the Orchestra will be joined by a host of special guest stars, including vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall, as well as ska trombonist Rico Rodriguez.
In addition, Dave Edmunds will also be performing with Jools Holland, as will drummer Gilson Lavis, with a significant proportion of the material due to be performed on the night likely to be lifted from the group’s latest album, The Informer.
Since launching his festive tours, Jools Holland has played to over four million people across the UK, with his shows now a staple of most city’s festive entertainment calendars.
The singer and piano player also hosts an annual New Year’s Eve party on the television.
