The local bands were excellent, although their street cred must have taken a dive as the theme of the night was boyband / girlband, so those bands well known to the Sheffield music scene provided much entertainment by belting out dodgy classics such as 'Let's get ready to rumble' !! It looked like everyone really enjoyed themselves and one of the highlights of the night was the appearance of The Everly Pregnant Brothers. If you are a follower of Sheffield art and local artisits, you will be interested to know that this band features Sheffield's very own Pete McKee www.petemckee.com. If you get a chance to see these guys live you should certainly take a look, their adaptation of Radiohead's 'Creep' was one of the funniest things I have heard in a while. Brilliant! So, well done again to all and thank you to those that helped all afternoon and evening - just over £1000 was taken on the door and through raffle ticket sales.
