Freddie Highmore, the 17-year-old Charlie and the Chocolate Factory star, has passed his driving test – despite picking up two minor marks for inappropriate use of the horn during the exam.
A British actor has passed his driving test – despite leaning out of the window to shout at a pedestrian, according to a source.
Freddie Highmore, star of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, passed the exam with only three minors, reports Contactmusic.com.
However, London car hire users may want to avoid copying his technique for dealing with troublesome pedestrians.
He told the website that he is surprised that he was not failed for road rage, after he shouted at a pedestrian who walked into his path as he reversed.
The 17-year-old said: “One (minor) was for slowing down and the other two were for inappropriate use of the horn… The guy walked out and I carried on backing up and then he started (walking) again and I beeped and shouted out the window!”
Another star to recently pass his test is rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who did so after 19 attempts.
