Could This be the Bus of the Future?
Whilst looking around the internet compiling research for my blog posts I usually come across a few interesting stories, usually with attention grabbing headlines. However, occasionally there are a few that provide me with images that just demand at least several looks like this amazing bus concept from Chinese company Shenzhen Hashi Future Parking Equipment Co.
The 3d fast bus is wide enough to stretch over 2 lanes of traffic, allowing them to drive safely and uninterrupted underneath the bus preventing delays and frustrations that can build up behind current public transport. With China’s notorious traffic jams hitting the headlines recently, including a huge 62 mile traffic jam reported to last 9 days outside of Beijing you can understand why schemes like this are being reported. Although it may seem far-fetched, plans for the 1,200 seater bus are already in late stages of being signed off and Beijing has already mapped out 116 miles of its Mentougou District as a test bed for the 3D Fast Bus.
It is hoped that the infrastructure for the huge bus could begin construction by the end of the year.
