Study Shows Women Are Worse at Parking
A recent study by the University of Bochum in Germany has proved that when trying to park a car into a space that men are indeed better than women. Not only were women slower at getting the car, an Audi A6, into the parking space but they generally were not as accurate in their parking as the men in the group of 65 people that took part in the study.
Dr Claudia Wolf, leader of the study, stated that men had better coordination, spatial awareness and that they were more prepared to take risks when parking. All particpants were rated according to time and accuracy for parallel, reverse and head-on parking.
Although it might appear to be a set back for women Dr Wolf thought that the study merely reinforced the findings of previous studies that have shown the differences between the two sexes.

I wonder wether this study was the reason for China to build a “car park for women only” with parking bays that are one metre wider than normal spaces!
