Our commitment to this aim was shown earlier this year with the launch of the first application to allow users to book car hire using the iPhone.

Research shows that the use of mobile devices to access the internet is steadily growing and looks set to become one of the most common ways in which online travel purchases are made and so, following on from the highly successful launch of our first iPhone application, we are delighted to announce the launch of the new version – iSixt 3.0

New Features

This new version is not so much an update but more a fundamental redesign of the original application which not only improves upon the functionality previously available but also brings significant new additions making hiring a car with a mobile device easier than ever before.

Making life easier for busy customers on the move, iSixt 3.0 allows users to swap between private and corporate profile log in pages.

Within each profile, the new system features a favourite booking function, where previous rental details are saved automatically and only the time and date of the rental needs to be amended – making reservations quicker and easier for regular users.

Our new top offers feature allows you to see the best deals not only for UK car hire but throughout the whole of the world.

As well as being to see the top offers available whilst using the iSixt app, this latest version also utilises Apple’s push notifications technology which allows you to receive details of offers at any time even when the application is not running.

If you have extra requirements for your rental it is now possible to request these when making a booking with our mobile application

A variety of extra options are available, whether you need a booster or child seat, want to specify that you require a diesel vehicle or want to have satellite navigation. It is also possible to book additional insurance options such as extended loss damage waiver.

  • Online Check In – Take advantage of the new online check-in, allowing you to activate your rental up to four hours before pick-up and select the exact vehicle you want to hire from the comprehensive range of quality assured cars.
  • Save Your Favourite Booking – Save the details of your favourite booking such as vehicle, extras and location and simply change the dates and times when you need to make a new reservation
  • Latest News – Get the latest news and updates about Sixt and the travel industry in general live from our blog.
