Sixt rent a car is celebrating after its location picked up the Manchester Airport Car Rental Partner of the Year Award.  This category is new to the Retailer of the Year Awards that are given out each year by Manchester Airport. Nominees included well known High Street brands such as W H Smith, Boots, Body Shop and Claire’s, to name just a few.  Europcar, Avis and Sixt were the only nominees in the Car Rental section and there was only one winner – SIXT! 

The awards are judged on exit interviews with customers. Airport customers are emailed, as well as personally approached by representatives in the departure lounges, asking for their feedback on the service and product offered to them, what they liked and disliked, whether they felt it was value for money and how much further the company in question went to assist them. Secret shoppers, together with the retail team and staff at Manchester Airport also give their comments based on their personal experience, observations and dealings with each company throughout the year.

Over 100 airlines offer direct flights to over 210 destinations worldwide from Manchester Airport, connecting over 22 million passengers to more places than any other airport in the UK. This is therefore an excellent achievement by Sixt Manchester Airport in a fiercely competitive market place.
