Earlier this year British Airways flight BA1462 performed the first ‘perfect flight’ between Heathrow Airport and Edinburgh Airport, setting an important environmental milestone for the aviation industry. British Airways’ Customer Service staff at terminals 1 and 3 in Heathrow Airport have voted to accept new working practices that have been agreed with both the GMB and Unite Trade Unions. The deal introduces new flexible, customer focused, working arrangements and effects 2850 staff at the airport.
