early booking value Early booking key for value holidayA travel expert has advised car hire users that they may be able to find a good value holiday by booking now for a summer 2010 trip abroad.

Car hire users looking for a value getaway must be flexible in their requirements, according to an expert.

Alistair Daly, marketing director for On the Beach, said that flexibility is “key”.

He explained: “Travelling outside of the peak season can vastly reduce costs. Other ways to save money include choosing all inclusive holidays and travelling from non-local airports.”

The marketing expert advised car hire users looking for a bargain break to book now for next summer, as by doing so they could take advantage of hotel prices which have fallen by around 30 per cent in comparison to this time last year.

Mr Daly said that many hoteliers are slashing their rates to attract Brits.

However, he added that many consumers are looking for value for money, rather than just a cheap holiday.

Finding a bargain holiday deal may give holidaymakers a little extra cash for car hire and spending money, with a recent moneysupermarket.com study revealing that the average amount of cash taken on a getaway is £312.
