Premier Inn has revealed that it is opening four new hotels at three of the city’s travel hubs.

The £125 million agreement with Arora Family Trust will see complexes at the Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick airports being built.

These will result in an additional 1,570 bedrooms becoming available for users of London car hire flying into the city.

Mark Anderson, commercial and property director for Whitbread, the owner of Premier Inn, said: “The success of the budget airlines has shown that there is an increasing demand for low-cost travel and that includes accommodation.”

In other news which could interest users of London car hire, ASDA recently revealed that it is cutting two pence from the price of its fuel.

This means that consumers filling up at the supermarket will pay no more than 102.9 and 103.9 for a litre of petrol and diesel respectively.

Book car hire at Heathrow Airport, Stansted Airport and Gatwick Airport from Sixt.
