Despite the fact that I can’t actually drive (shocking for someone who has worked in the car rental industry for 10 years – I know!) One thing that has always really drawn me towards the idea of learning is being able to get a motor home.

I really love travelling but unfortunately am absolutely terrified of flying and, whilst I do force myself to do it when necessary, being able to cruise around in your own little mobile home is a much more appealing prospect.

I was looking around the other day for cool motor homes to try and inspire me when I came across the rather awesome Volkner Mobil bus on a caravan insurance website (highly appropriate given that prices start from around £850,000!)

Given the price tag you obviously want something special for your money but with an interior that is more luxurious than my house and a handy built in parking space for your sports car, they really are trying to give value for money which is not an easy task when you are talking about an investment of going on for a million pounds.

Much as I think this is an absolutely awesome vehicle and one that I would really love to own, I think a VW camper van is a more realistic goal than a mobile palace. Still, nice to dream…
