Thanks for your great post and to be honest I had never heard of Rostock before giving it a read and it certainly seems to be an interesting place to visit that is not one of the main destinations that the average british tourist would visit.

Can I ask which is the best airport to fly into if I wanted to visit Rostock?

I have visited Rostock once myself, a couple of years ago now, it is not the first place that springs to mind if you were looking to visit Germany for the first time, but your article really has done the area justice – excellent promotion. Thanks again for the contribution Anke I am really looking forward to hopefully visiting Rostock at some point in the future especially maybe during the Hanse event as I love being at sea!
